AAHA

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) was established in 1933. It is an international association comprised of veterinary care providers.

Since 1933, AAHA has developed specific written standards for veterinary practices. Trained AAHA consultants visit participating practices regularly to ensure adherence to these standards.

Areas which AAHA regularly reviews include patient care, pain management, cleanliness, x-ray, contagious diseases and anesthesia. Additionally, satellite facilities are also routinely reviewed.

Hospitals either pass or fail based on these standards. Proudly, our hospitals have been certified since 1995.
