What is Rehabilitation?

Canine rehabilitation is proving to be an important key in the recovery of canines with orthopedic and/or neurological conditions, particularly after surgery. Research suggests that post-surgical rehab is just as important for dogs as it is for humans. It creates an environment more optimal for healing, allowing for a quicker and more successful recover.

What Dogs Benefit From Rehab?

Rehabiliation and conditioning can help all dogs, but it is extremely beneficial for dogs with the following conditions:

• Soft tissue injuries (i.e. sprais, strains, tendonitis)
• Pre- and post-orthopedic surgeries
• Arthritis and pain management
• Neurologic conditions
• Obesity
• Athletes
• Unconditioned and out-of-shape dogs

All patients need a veterinarian referral before starting rehabilition.
